Our Team

Harriet Scott

Chief Executive Officer

Co-founder of research agency, One Poll, and MD of its sister news consultancy arm, 72Point, for 12 years; Harriet co-founded Ginger Research in 2015, which was rebranded as Perspectus Global in 2021.

Harriet’s experience includes directing countless research projects for big household name brands, leading comms and PR agencies.

Her passions include HIIT classes, culinary experimentation, pub lunches and her cavapoo, Saphie.

Dave Arnold

Chief Operations Officer

With an eight-year journalistic background that spanned regional and national newspapers, David moved to OnePoll and 72Point for three years, before helping to launch Ginger Research in 2015.

David’s eye for ensuring research is robust and newsworthy has helped Perspectus Global secure international work with major brand clients and agencies including Bacardi, Groupon & Vodafone.

His passions include looking after his new baby girl, Aurora, and following the temperate ups and crushing lows of his beloved Tottenham Hotspur.

Ellie Glason MMRS

Managing Director

With a 10-year background in PR and news generation, Ellie has spent the last three years working specifically on research-based projects for consumer and trade with some of the world’s biggest household name brands, and is a member of the MRS.

A creative, she also loves stats and has a wealth of experience overseeing brand storytelling campaigns for multiple audiences.

When not crunching numbers, she enjoys reading trashy crime novels, trying to keep her houseplants alive, and having power naps.

Jon Horsley

Senior Research Consultant

After a stint in the European Parliament, Jon moved into online media writing about football for the 365 corporation, before being made editor of website Music365. He began his research career and developed a love of Excel, while working in marketing for a national supermarket chain.

Jon now has years of experience overseeing research projects and writing whitepapers for international corporations.

When he’s not working, Jon cooks overelaborate food, plays chess and tortures himself watching Sheffield Wednesday.

Evie Porter

Senior News and Research Consultant

After spending time building a career in PR and marketing, Evie has been working with the Perspectus Global team for the last few years. Drawing upon the knowledge secured during her Sociology degree at the University of Exeter, where she got to grips with undertaking effective research methods, Evie enjoys exploring statistics and using them to identify wider trends.

She particularly likes crafting questions to help secure the most interesting stats and using the results to create strong, robust reports for clients.

In her spare time, Evie enjoys yoga, spending time with her little boy and trying (and failing) to secure Taylor Swift tickets.

Claudia Crosse

Account Manager

Claudia has years of experience undertaking and delivering a wide range of research to clients in our key areas, including a host of successful international projects. She manages research, as well as client relationships at Perspectus Global, and should be the first port of call for a research quote.

Claudia also produces music and is a self-proclaimed Whisky connoisseur. As an international expert, inevitably she enjoys travel.

Caitlin MacLean

New Business Sales Executive

After gaining first class honours in Business Management at the University of Edinburgh, Caitlin worked for several years in B2B marketing and communications, before moving to PR research. She onboards new clients and handles accounts at Perspectus Global.

In her spare time, Caitlin can be found singing Broadway showtunes (badly) and reviewing the latest romance books.

Dave Clarke

Creative Director

Dave has been a creative professional since 2006 and provides a range of services including Graphic Design, Animation and Illustration. Over this time he has worked with organisations of all sizes, from individuals and small businesses to global companies and top universities.

His role at Perspectus Global spans Design, Animation and Creative Strategy.

In his spare time he is an avid Mountain Biker and Wild Camper. He’s happiest in the middle of nowhere with a campfire and a good book.

Mark Speed FMRS & FRSA

Associate Consultant

Ex-partner at Mori then Joint Managing Director of IFF Research and was Founder and Managing Consultant of xSpeediency Limited. Mark has over three decades of qualitative and quantitative research experience both in the UK and globally and is still embracing new techniques in both research disciplines.

Specialisms include branding, marketing, employee and comms research as well as complex public sector projects in the UK, and large gender empowerment studies in Africa.

Mark’s passions include motorcycles, music and a nice meal out …and less satisfyingly, being a lifelong supporter of QPR.
